Cancellation policy

24 hrs notice

I understand that life can be unpredictable and that plans sometimes need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable, as that time has been reserved specifically for you and it is often difficult to offer the appointment to another client at short notice.

Missed appointments and no-shows are also non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, as this helps me continue to provide a reliable service for all clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens at my first appointment?

Before your treatment begins, your therapist will take the time to discuss your goals, any areas of tension or discomfort, and what you would like to achieve from the session.

Where appropriate, they may carry out some simple movement or physical assessments to gain a better understanding of any pain, restrictions, or specific concerns you may have. This helps ensure your treatment is tailored to your individual needs.

You will also be asked to complete and sign a consent form. This gives you the opportunity to share any relevant information, ask questions, and ensures you fully understand the treatment and what to expect throughout your session.

What does the setup look like?

Your therapist will arrive with all equipment needed for the treatment, including a professional massage table, fresh towels, and mediums.

Before the session begins, a small area will need to be cleared to comfortably fit the massage table and allow space for the therapist to move around it, typically around the size of a yoga mat with extra room on each side.

Living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices usually work perfectly.

A calm, warm, and quiet environment will help you get the most from your treatment.

Do I need to remove clothing?

This depends on the type of treatment and your personal comfort level.

For most massages, some clothing may need to be removed to allow the therapist to work effectively on the areas being treated, but you will always be professionally covered with towels throughout the session. The therapist will leave room to give you privacy to remove clothing as well.

Your comfort and consent are always the priority, and treatments can be adapted to suit what you feel comfortable with.

Will my massage hurt?

Massage should never feel unbearable, but some techniques, particularly deep tissue or sports massage, can feel intense when working on tight or sensitive areas. Your therapist will always work within your comfort level and adjust pressure throughout the treatment. Communication is encouraged during the session to ensure the massage feels effective, safe, and comfortable for you.
